Read the mission before opening the catalog
The current mission directive is your short list of goals. Begin with Chapter 1’s connected-road target and work toward the first facilities. A building becoming visible is an invitation to inspect it, not an instruction to spend on it immediately.
Make a road that connects
Grade road outward from the old gate until you meet the 25 m target. Keep new branches connected to this route. When placing a building, look at its access point and the placement feedback rather than assuming that nearby pavement will be enough.
Build the starting chain
Finish Headquarters, then the Construction Lab. Follow with Residential Housing and a Solar Farm. These supply the command, construction, people and electricity behind the next chapter. A placed or queued site is not yet a completed building.
Watch three margins: money, power and people
Before adding a facility, check its cost, power demand and staffing requirement. Think about what must be built around it too. If several projects compete for the same small workforce or construction team, finish the essential one before adding more.
Let research and construction support each other
Chapter 2 introduces the Research Center. Research unlocks capabilities, but some topics also need physical facilities. Rocket Propellant I, for example, requires two operating tanks as well as Propulsion Engine I. Read both kinds of prerequisite.
Solve a blocker in a consistent order
Inspect the current objective, chapter, earlier research, required facility level and operational dependencies. Then check access, the queue, staff and power. That is usually more useful than demolishing buildings or repeatedly placing a locked facility.
