Official Mars47 gameplay showcase

FROM EMPTY COAST.
TO LIFTOFF.

See the direction of your space program in the official 59-second showcase, then follow the decisions behind the pictures: build the base, support research and prepare the operation that puts a rocket on the pad.

What the showcase helps you decide

The official video gives you a short impression of the base, its activity and the progression toward a rocket launch. It is an edited promotional overview, not a promise that a new campaign reaches liftoff in a minute. The YouTube upload also carries an altered or synthetic content disclosure; treat it as a showcase rather than an unedited recording of an entire play session.

Watch for the relationship between the ground operation and the launch. If the growing campus, industrial facilities and transport routes catch your attention, those are central to Mars47’s appeal. The launch is the visible result of the planning that comes before it.

First, make the coastal base work

The opening challenge is a connected base. Follow the mission directive, extend a valid road and establish the starting facilities: Headquarters, Construction Lab, housing and a Solar Farm. These provide the foundations for the next stage of the program.

A queued building is not yet a working one. Check its construction state and operational needs. Before expanding, ask whether the base can supply what the next facility requires. The beginner tutorial explains the opening route, while Chapter 1’s guide provides more detail.

Turn the base into a research program

The Research Center introduces a new kind of planning. You are not just adding floor space; you are developing the capabilities that later facilities and missions need. Follow both technological and physical prerequisites.

Read the research description before committing to the next branch. If a topic requires an earlier program and operational infrastructure, complete both. This makes research part of the spaceport’s working system. Our propulsion research guide explains an early example, and the building reference explains the supporting facilities.

Build the operation behind the rocket

As the campaign develops, industrial and logistics facilities connect the earlier groundwork to flight hardware. Leave space for the support chain, rather than treating the launch structure as an isolated destination. Roads and operating margins remain relevant when the program becomes more ambitious.

Inspect the current objective when progress stalls. It may call for a completed facility, a research prerequisite, a particular operational state or a mission action. Repeatedly placing more buildings is less useful than finding which part of the chain is missing.

Reach launch readiness, then follow the mission

The route to a first launch involves more than buying a rocket. The program must support its preparation and the launch operation. Follow the campaign’s instructions for the facilities, qualification work and flight preparation available in your version.

In the documented campaign, the ocean launch complex precedes the first rocket launch. Do not use the fast cuts in a showcase as a substitute for that mission sequence. Read the current directive and complete its conditions before expecting the next action to become available.

Mars47 is about managing that program. If your main interest is manually piloting a spacecraft, our flight simulator and program-management comparison explains the distinction.
